Very nice couple of weeks!

Hi All,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have been home for almost 2 1/2 weeks from last chemo treatment and it has been nice to focus on family and not cancer. Matt was pretty tired and sick after the chemo but slowly he has begun to feel better. Now that he is back to feeling pretty good it is time to return to the cancer center for the next treatment. We leave tomorrow morning.

This past weekend we took most of our children and my mom and dad and went to Bisbee to run in the Bisbee 1000 stair climb and 5K race. Bisbee is small mining town in AZ that is built into the hillsides and so there are lots and lots of stairs throughout. The Bisbee 1000 is a 5k race which also involves going up 1000 steps. It is a blast and this is our 4th year doing the race. Gabe, Gabriela, Brittani and I ran it this year. Gabe and Gabriela both took first place in their age group. They are such great runners!!

I will update again in a couple of days to let you know if the tumor markers are down and how the chemo goes. We are also going to ask the Dr. if the plan has changed at all or if we are still moving forward with the old plan. I will update you all that as well.
