“And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:38–39.)

Ready to Fight!!
I am feeling better after ranting and raving for a while and after talking with the counselor they have here at the cancer center. I am going to try very hard to live in the present and not dwell on a future that I can't control. My mantra will be, "don't worry, be happy!" These were Brittani's first words because when she was little she heard this song many times and I guess she must have really liked it so instead of mommy or daddy, her first words were these. These are words for me to live by right now. Matt and I have taken care of all of the things we can for Plan B or "worst case scenario", and now there is nothing more we can do except be positive and fight!
Thank you all again for your love, encouragement, prayers, thoughts, etc!!

Well......Bad News Today.....Just Trying to Hold it Together
We see the oncologist tomorrow and Matt will begin chemo again. The chemo was working on reducing the tumors before, so I am sure it will work again, it is just that now I know for sure that there is really no possibility of surgery down the road, which at least gave us a 20% chance of a cure.
Sorry.....I am really really bummed tonight!!

A Little Nervous But Anxious To Resume the Chemotherapy
It has been a week and a half since Matt had surgery and he is doing very well. He walks every morning and is able to do more each day. Tomorrow am we go to get his blood work done and we will see if his platelets are back in the normal range. We leave for the cancer center tomorrow night. Tuesday he has a ct scan and meets with the surgeon to get cleared to return to work. Wednesday we meet with the oncologist and if all goes well he will begin his chemotherapy treatments once again.
We are super nervous about the ct scan. We are praying that the cancer has not grown during the time Matt has been off of chemo. I will post as soon as we get the results.
Love to all of you!!

Matt sta molto bene oggi. Sta mangiando normalmente e sta camminando.
